This is an introductory course on climate change. It assumes that you don’t know a lot yet about the causes and effects of climate change or the scientific data that support it but that you want to find out more.
This course will give you a basic understanding of the main issues and is a perfect starting point for you to go deeper into the subject. At the end of the course there is a ‘further reading’ list that will link you to more in-depth treatments of the points covered in these lessons.
What will you learn?
The course will give you an overview of the key scientific concepts and data on climate change, how climate change is effecting and will effect life on our planet, how human activity contributes to climate change and some ways that we can work to reduce or reverse the effects of climate change and global warming.
